Introduction to ASL:

During the Stamp Act of 1765, while the American Colonies were under the rule of the British Crown, a group of Patriots were organized under the name The Sons of Liberty to protest the Stamp tax. The Sons of Liberty were the first formal group organized in the Colonies. While the Officials of England suspected them of plotting to overthrow the government, the Sons insisted upon an allegiance to the King and were upholding the Constitution against the usurpation of royal British officials, and did not see violence as a means of political influence.

In the spirit of the example laid before us by our brave Forefathers, I see the urgent need for the return of The Sons of Liberty. Just as the Colonial Sons pledged allegiance to their king, the American Sons of Liberty pledge allegiance to America and Her Constitution. (Not to be confused with a pledge to any government or any people and/or organizations within).

The Constitution of the United States of America is in need of a strong people to uphold it. The Constitution is under attack, a usurpation of government officials, lawmakers, media, and a growing number of people who know nothing of the foundations of their own country, and seem as though they could not care less.

It is, therefore, the American Sons of Liberty's purpose to educate the American people about their Constitution, their history, and the current situations in America that are threatening the Liberties and Rights of America and Her people.
